Steve Ellis Ink Work of Innistrad Werewolf

Steve Ellis is an artist, comics storyteller, writer and illustration instructor. He has won awards for his work including High Moon and The Only Living Boy with co-creator David Gallaher, as well as his work on AMC’s Breaking Bad: The high Cost of Living game. Steve has also created various and sundry illustrations and comics for Marvel, DC, Blizzard Entertainment, Wizards of the Coast and many more. He has taught drawing, illustration and comics at Syracuse University since 2004. Steve is currently at work on the world of Thornclaw Manor. The story of Melody Hawthorne, a girl who in searching for her long lost family finds herself in a world of monsters out of myths and legend. Steve currently lives in the wilds of Ithaca, NY with his wife Yamila, daughter Luna and their lovely greyhound Blossom.

  • Worked with writers from Breaking Bad and Walking Dead to develop interactive graphic novel games for an online audience.                                                                               

  • Co-created new characters settings and situations for the established Breaking Bad world.        

  • Designed art assets for game and art directed other artists to complete animation and storyboards.    

  • Worked with programmers to develop the UI  for the game as well as worked with team to develop different types of interaction between user and characters in game.

  • Helped develop story scenarios, game mechanics and art to expand the character development and world of THE WALKING DEAD

  • Used unique story opportunity to revitalize and recreate the relationships of characters and their relationship with heroism, personal responsibility, and redemption while taking care to be true to the essential qualities of the original characters.
